ABSTRACT

The quality of life of pregnant women greatly influences mental health during pregnancy because pregnant women are vulnerable to emotional changes. Early stimulation of fetal growth and development affects the quality of life of pregnant women and the fetal heart rate. High anxiety in pregnant women can influence FHR patterns. Increase efforts to stimulate the fetus, measure quality of life and fetal heart rate in the class of pregnant women at the Gambirsari Community Health Center, Surakarta City Health Office Working Area. This community service will be carried out in September 2022 – August 2023 with a target of 33 pregnant women. Methods and Results used included a pre-test: 1) fetal stimulation carried out by pregnant women was measured using a fetal stimulation skills checklist instrument with an average result of 0.6 in the category done but not yet appropriate. 2) the quality of life of pregnant women is measured using WHOQOL-BREF, getting an average result of 76 in the good quality of life category, 3) the fetal heart rate is measured using a Doppler which is documented in the MCH book for each pregnant woman, getting an average result of 0.9 in the normal fetal heart rate category. Next, health education was provided with lectures using power points, video packages and flash cards regarding fetal stimulation. Implementation of monitoring and evaluation using observation sheets and fetal stimulation skills checklists to observe fetal stimulation efforts by pregnant women every day, one stimulation exercise for 25 days through home visits and WAG. Community service activities obtained very effective results as evidenced by the results of the post test: 1) fetal stimulation with an average result of 2 in the category was carried out correctly and from the observation sheet 15 pregnant women regularly carried out stimulation efforts 1 exercise/day for 25 days . 2) the quality of life of pregnant women gets an average result of 96 in the very good quality of life category, 3) the fetal heart rate gets an average result of 1 in the normal fetal heart rate category.
