Program Pengabdian Masyarakat Pencegahan Penyakit Demam Berdarah untuk Kelompok Ibu PKK Banjar Geria di Desa Melinggih Payangan Gianyar

ABSTRAK
Demam berdarah dengue (DBD) merupakan masalah kesehatan yang menuntut keterlibatan komunitas dalam pencegahannya. Program ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan tentang strategi pencegahan DBD. Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pencegahan DBD serta meningkatkan keterampilan membuat larvitrap secara sederhana, melalui pendekatan penyuluhan, pelatihan praktis, dan kegiatan partisipatif. Meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, serta keterampilan dalam pencegahan DBD pada kelompok Ibu PKK Banjar Geria. Program pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan metode penyuluhan dengan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan pengetahuan mitra. Terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan tentang pencegahan DBD dan kebersihan lingkungan setelah penyuluhan. Rerata jawaban benar pada pre-test adalah 21, sedangkan pada post-test mitra adalah 80, yang menghasilkan peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 73,8%. Program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pencegahan DBD di tingkat rumah tangga melalui keterlibatan aktif Ibu PKK. Hasilnya berpotensi direplikasi dalam konteks serupa di wilayah lain, dengan modifikasi sesuai kebutuhan setempat.

ABSTRACT
Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) remains a global health problem that requires community involvement in its prevention. This program is designed to increase awareness and knowledge about dengue prevention strategies. To increase public knowledge and awareness of dengue prevention and to improve the skills for making larvitrap traps simply, through counseling approaches, practical training, and participatory activities. To increase knowledge, awareness, and skills in dengue prevention in the Banjar Geria PKK Women's group. The community service program uses counseling methods with pre- and post-tests to evaluate increases in partner knowledge. There was a significant increase in knowledge about dengue prevention and environmental hygiene after counseling. The average correct answer in the pre-test was 21, while in the post-test, it was 80, resulting in a 73.8% increase in knowledge. This program is effective in improving knowledge and skills of dengue prevention at the household level through the active involvement of PKK mothers. The results have the potential to be replicated in similar contexts in other regions, with modifications according to local needs.
