Program Edukasi untuk Pencegahan Kekerasan Seksual dengan Metode Diskusi Interaktif di SMA Negeri 1 Babakan Madang

ABSTRAK

 

Meningkatnya kasus kekerasan seksual pada remaja di Indonesia memerlukan intervensi preventif di lingkungan sekolah, mengingat literasi kesehatan reproduksi dan pemahaman hukum yang rendah merupakan faktor risiko bagi siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Babakan Madang melalui edukasi kesehatan mengenai pencegahan kekerasan seksual. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi edukatif berupa ceramah interaktif dan diskusi dua arah yang dipimpin oleh dokter spesialis dengan melibatkan 100 siswa (50 putra dan 50 putri) sebagai peserta. Tingkat pengetahuan diukur menggunakan instrumen kuesioner pre-testdan post-test yang kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan uji Paired T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada skor rerata pengetahuan siswa, dari 58,6 saat pre-test menjadi 91,2 saat post-test (p < 0,05). Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah edukasi kesehatan efektif dalam memperkuat literasi kesehatan serta membangun kewaspadaan siswa terhadap ancaman kekerasan seksual. Pihak sekolah disarankan untuk mengintegrasikan program edukasi ini secara berkala ke dalam kurikulum atau kegiatan kesiswaan guna menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang aman dan tangguh.

ABSTRACT

 

The rising incidence of sexual violence among adolescents in Indonesia requires preventive interventions within the school environment, given that low reproductive health literacy and inadequate legal understanding are primary risk factors for students. This community service activity aimed to improve student knowledge at SMA Negeri 1 Babakan Madang through health education on the prevention of sexual violence. The method employed was educational socialization through interactive lectures and two-way discussions led by medical specialists, involving 100 students (50 males and 50 females) as participants. Knowledge levels were measured using pre-test and post-test questionnaire instruments, which were then analyzed quantitatively using the Paired T-test. The results showed a significant increase in the mean knowledge score of the students, from 58.6 during the pre-test to 91.2 during the post-test (p < 0.05). This activity concluded that health education was effective in strengthening health literacy and building student awareness against the threat of sexual violence. It is recommended that the school management integrate this educational program periodically into the curriculum or student activities to create a safe and resilient educational environment.
