Pelatihan Kepemimpinan Keperawatan Pada Perawat-Perawat Tugas Belajar Di Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Cenderawasih Jayapura Papua

ABSTRAK

Kemampuan leadership sangat diperlukan dewasa ini dalam meningkatkan mutu pekerjaan termasuk didunia kerja keperawatan. Memiliki kemampuan leadership dalam keperawatan akan meningkatkan kualitas layanan keperawatan dam instansi-instansi kesehatan. Karena itu peran perawat sebagai pemimpin sangat perlu guna menjamin keberhasilan pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat secara holistik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan para perawat-perawat di berbagai daerah di Papua. Metode yang di lakukan adalah diawali dengan pre-test kepada peserta kemudian pemaparan materi pelatihan selama tiga hari lalu di lakukan post-test. Data hasil dari pre-test dan post-test dianalisa untuk mengetahui tingkat kemajuan pengetahuan peserta pelatihan. Rata-rata gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,5277 menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dari pre-test ke post-test termasuk dalam kategori peningkatan sedang. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua peserta pelatihan mempunyai peningkatan pengetahuan tentang Leadership setelah mengikuti pelatihan.

ABSTRACT

Leadership skills are essential in improving the quality of work, including in nursing care. Having nursing leadership skill would improve quality of nursing care in health settings holistically. Therefore the role of nurses as a leader in their workplace  is paramount. Community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and abilities of leadership of the nurses in various regions in Papua. The method used was preceded by a pre-test to the participants and then giving material and training of leadership for three days and then a post test. Data from the pre-test and post-test were analyzed to determine the level of progress of participant’s knowledge and ability of leadership. The normalized gain average of 0.5277 indicates that the increase in participant’s knowledge of leadership from pre-test to post-test is in the moderate category. It can be concluded that there is an improvement of leadership skill knowledge in all the participants after attending the training.
