Pendidikan Kesehatan Masyarakat Melalui Kegiatan Penyuluhan Mengenai Hernia Nuklues Pulposus di Komplek Yon Arhunudri Pakulonan, Jakarta

ABSTRAK

 

Herniasi diskus intervertebralis merupakan suatu kondisi di mana nukleus pulposus menonjol melewati anulus fibrosus, masalah kesehatan ini sering kali menimbulkan masalah nyeri yang tidak biasa, perubahan sensasi sampai dengan kelemahan gerak dan berakhir dengan pengobatan pembedahan pada tulang belakang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat terkait HNP dan cara pencegahannya. Metode edukasi ini adalah ceramah dan tanya jawab secara daring menggunakan platform Zoom cloud meeting yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 202 dengan jumlah peserta yang hadir sebanyak 23 orang. Mayoritas peserta berjenis kelamin perempuan (65%), berusia dewasa (36-45 tahun) dan bekerja sebagai Ibu rumah tangga (43.5%), memiliki IMT normal sebanyak 7 orang (30.4%) dan pengetahuan baik (nilai rata-rata 8,71). Dengan tindakan edukatif kepada masyarakat, diharapkan mampu menganalisa kegiatan sehari-hari yang beresiko menyebabkan HNP dan posisi tubuh saat melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari dalam upaya pencegahan HNP.

ABSTRACT

 

Intervertebral disc herniation is a condition in which the nucleus pulposus protrudes through the annulus fibrosus. This condition causes atypical pain problems, changes in sensation, a weakness of movement and ends with surgery at the spine. The aim of this activity was to educate the community about HNP and prevention of HNP. The method of this activity was lectures using the Zoom cloud meeting platform. This activity was held in March 202 with 23 participants attending. The majority of participants were female (65%), adolescents (36-45 years), and working as housewives (43.5%), with a normal BMI was 7 people (30.4%) and good knowledge (mean 8.71). Through educating the community, the community was expected to analyze daily activities that are risk factors of HNP and analyze body position while carrying out daily activities in an effort to prevent HNP.
