Peningkatan Kapasitas Siswa-Siswi MA Darul Falah Mengenai Penyakit Menular Seksual

ABSTRAK
Penyakit menular seksual atau PMS merupakan penyakit atau infeksi yang ditularkan melalui hubungan seksual. Kasus PMS banyak terjadi pada kalangan remaja dan dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kesehatan reproduksi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan intervensi pada siswa MA Darul Falah mengenai PMS. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pematerian penyakit menular seksual di MA Darul Falah berjalan dengan lancar. Para peserta telah diberikan pengetahuan mengenai pengertian PMS, jenis-jenis PMS, penyebab serta pencegahan PMS. Pembuatan poster dengan materi PMS melalui focus group discussion (FGD) dilakukan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dan fokus peserta terhadap penyakit menular seksual dapat diterima dengan baik. Dalam kegiatan pematerian mengenai Penyakit Menular Seksual di MA Darul Falah yang dihadiri oleh 89 peserta memiliki enam rangkaian kegiatan dalam satu hari pematerian yaitu pre-test, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), presentasi grup, pematerian, post-test, pengumuman hadiah poster terbaik. Kegiatan pre-test diikuti oleh 70 peserta dengan rata-rata nilai 70,54. kegiatan post-test diikuti oleh 67 peserta dengan rata-rata nilai 82,06. Terdapat kenaikan nilai rata-rata post-test sebesar 16,3% dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test. Dengan demikian, terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan siswa setelah mengikuti kegiatan pematerian. Edukasi secara berkesinambungan terkait PMS harus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan sikap dan perilaku siswa.

ABSTRACT
Sexually transmitted diseases or STDs are diseases or infections that are transmitted through sexual intercourse. STDs cases often occur among adolescents and can affect the level of reproductive health. The purpose of this activity is expected to be able to provide intervention to MA Darul Falah students regarding STDs. The implementation of materialization activities on sexually transmitted diseases at MA Darul Falah ran smoothly. The participants were given knowledge about the meaning of STDs, the types of STDs, the causes and prevention of STDs. Making posters with STDs material through focus group discussions (FGD) was carried out to provide a better understanding and focus on participants on sexually transmitted diseases that could be well received. In the presentation on Sexually Transmitted Diseases at MA Darul Falah which was attended by 89 participants, there were six series of activities in one day of presentation, namely pre-test, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), group presentations, presentation, post-test, announcement of the best poster prize. The pre-test activity was attended by 70 participants with an average score of 70.54. post-test activities were attended by 67 participants with an average score of 82.06. There is an increase in the average post-test score of 16.3% compared to the pre-test average value. Thus, there is an increase in students' knowledge after participating in teaching activities. Continuous education related to STDs must be carried out to improve students' attitudes and behavior.
