KONFLIK INTRAPERSONAL PEREMPUAN MINANG: ANTARA AMBISI KARIR DAN TUNTUTAN ADAT
Abstrak
Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mendeskripsikan konflik intrapersonal yang dialami oleh perempuan minang dalam menghadapi ambisi karir di tengah tuntutan adat dan budaya. Sebagai masyarakat matrilineal, perempuan minang memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga nilai-nilai adat, namun di sisi lain, mereka juga menghadapi tuntutan modernitas yang mendorong mereka untuk meraih prestasi dalam bidang karir. Konflik ini sering kali memunculkan dilema antara tanggung jawab terhadap keluarga dan komunitas dengan aspirasi pribadi dalam dunia profesional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus terhadap dua perempuan minang yang berstatus menikah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan wawancara wawancara semi terstruktur. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu teknik analisis tematik dengan tipe theory driven oleh Braun dan Clarke yang dikenal sebagai reflexitive thematic analysis (RTA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perempuan minang yang telah menikah seringkali menghadapi konflik intrapersonal akibat tuntutan adat serta ambisi karir. Konflik ini terjadi dalam berbagai bentuk yaitu konflik peran, konflik nilai tradisional budaya, konflik emosional, konflik identitas, dan konflik harapan sosial. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini diperlukan dukungan psikologis untuk dapat mengaktualisasikan diri dengan lebih optimal.

Abstract
This study attempts to describe the intrapersonal conflict experienced by Minang women in facing career ambitions amidst customary and cultural demands. As a matrilineal society, Minang women have an important role in maintaining customary values, but on the other hand, they also face the demands of modernity that encourage them to achieve in their careers. This conflict often raises a dilemma between responsibility to family and community with personal aspirations in the professional world. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method on two married Minang women. Data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews. The data analysis technique used by the researcher was the thematic analysis technique with the theory driven type by Braun and Clarke known as reflexive thematic analysis (RTA). Furthermore, the validity of the data in this study used triangulation of data sources. The results of this study are that married Minang women often face intrapersonal conflicts due to customary demands and career ambitions. This conflict occurs in various forms, namely role conflict, traditional cultural value conflict, emotional conflict, identity conflict, and social expectation conflict. Implication of the result of this study is that psychological support is needed to be able to actualize onself more optimally.
