PENGARUH INTIMACY DAN ATTACHMENT TERHADAP KEPUASAN HUBUNGAN PADA MAHASISWA YANG MENJALANI PACARAN JARAK JAUH (LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP)

Mahasiswa yang menjalani hubungan pacaran jarak jauh (LDR) berada pada fase gamang atas hubungan asmara yang dilalui, menyelesaikan masalah untuk menghasilkan kepuasan dalam hubungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intimacy dan attachment terhadap kepuasan hubungan pada mahasiswa dengan hubungan pacaran LDR, kemudian penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui efek yang diberikan dari lamanya hubungan dan jenis kelamin sebagai variabel kontrol yang dianalisis dengan intimacy dan attachment terhadap kepuasan hubungan pada mahasiswa yang menjalani hubungan LDR. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode survey dengan analisis data melalui regresi hierarki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intimacy dan attachment berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan hubungan pada mahasiswa yang menjalani hubungan LDR. Adanya faktor prediktor berupa jenis kelamin dan lamanya hubungan, menunjukan hasil yang tidak signifikan pada intimacy & attachment terhadap kepuasan hubungan mahasiswa yang sedang menjalani hubungan LDR. Kontribusi yang dapat diberikan dalam penelitian ini untuk menambah kajian ilmu pengetahuan dan memberikan sumbangsi positif di bidang ilmu psikologi mengenai wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang intimacy dan attachment terhadap kepuasan hubungan pada pasangan LDR.

Abstract

Students who are in a long-distance dating relationship (LDR) are in an insecure phase of the relationship, solving problems to produce satisfaction in the relationship. This study aims to determine the effect of intimacy and attachment on relationship satisfaction in students with LDR dating relationships, then this study was also conducted to determine the effect given from the length of the relationship and gender as a control variable analyzed by intimacy and attachment on relationship satisfaction in students undergoing LDR relationships. This study uses a quantitative research approach using survey methods with data analysis through hierarchical regression. The results showed that intimacy and attachment had a significant effect on relationship satisfaction in students who were undergoing LDR relationships. The existence of predictor factors in the form of gender and length of relationship, showed insignificant results in intimacy & attachment on the relationship satisfaction of students who were undergoing LDR relationships. The contribution that can be made in this study is to add to the study of science and provide positive contributions in the field of psychology regarding insight and knowledge about intimacy and attachment to relationship satisfaction in LDR couples.
