PENGARUH FUN AT WORK TERHADAP WORK ENGAGEMENT PADA KARYAWAN STARTUP

Abstrak

Pada era digital, ide-ide kreatif berkembang dengan memanfaatkan teknologi modern. Perubahan tren bisnis membuka banyak peluang baru bagi usaha-usaha kecil untuk berkembang. Kemajuan teknologi membuat tempat kerja mengembangkan lingkungan kerja yang kompetitif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh antara fun at work terhadap work engagement pada karyawan. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian sebanyak 121 orang. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan pada penelitian dengan menggunakan metode survei. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan jika terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara fun at work terhadap work engagement sebanyak. Pengaruh fun at work dimensi socializing with coworkers, celebrating at work, dan personal freedom terhadap work engagement sebanyak16,9%. Ditemukan juga besar pengaruh fun at work dimensi global fun at work terhadap work engagement adalah 52,5%. Data tersebut menunjukkan jika semakin tinggi fun at work di tempat kerja, maka akan meningkatkan engagement karyawan. Implikasi pada penelitian ini adalah perlunya memperhatikan fun at work pada pekerja startup agar tidak berdampak negative terhadap tingkat work engagement pekerja.

Abstract

In the digital era, creative ideas are developed by utilizing modern technology. Changes in business trends open up many new opportunities for small businesses to grow. Technological advances make the workplace develop a competitive work environment. This study aims to determine the effect of fun at work on employee engagement. The number of participants in the study was 121. A quantitative approach is used in research using survey methods. Analysis of research data using simple linear regression The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of fun at work on work engagement. Effect of fun at work dimensions of socializing with coworkers, celebrating at work, and personal freedom on work engagement as much as 16.9%. It was also found that the effect of fun at work on the global dimension of fun at work on work engagement is 52.5%. The data shows that the more fun at work in the workplace, the higher employee engagement will be. The implication of this research is the need to pay attention to the fun at work of startup workers so that it does not have a negative impact on the level of work engagement of workers.
