The use of alter accounts on social media allows individuals to appear anonymously, thus enabling them to express themselves more freely, but it also increases the potential for cyberbullying. This research aims to test the correlation of self-control and emotional intelligence with cyberbullying behavior among alter account users using a quantitative correlational technique with purposive sampling technique, with 100 participants. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The result reveals that self-control and emotional intelligence explain 19.9% of the variation in cyberbullying behavior. Self-control and emotional intelligence  have a negative effect on cyberbullying, with self-control being more dominant compared to emotional intelligence, thus the higher these two abilities, the lower the individual's tendency to engage in cyberbullying, and both act as protective factors in anonymous digital interactions.
